Berry Lemonade
Since I can’t have any alcohol🤰🏼 this summer, I’ve been experimenting with different mocktail/nonalcoholic recipes.
One of my favorites so far is Berry Lemonade! It’s refreshing, light and yummy! Great for family and summer events. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen berry medley
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 qts premise lemonade, chilled
- Ice
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- In a small nonstick saucepan, heat berries, sugar and water over medium-low heat (u Tim. Series burst and liquid gets syrupy, about 2-4mins).
- Let berry mixture slightly cool and add it to a food processor or blender and purée. Strain into a bowl or large measuring cup and chill (this should make 1 cup purée).
- Combine chilled purée and lemonade. Serve over ice, garnish with mint and fresh berries is desired. Refrigerate any leftovers.
